This comes as a follow up to my last article where I introduced our readers to the absolute insanity that is The Confluence, a blog run by a minuscule pro-Hillary political group that has now decided the deep end wasn’t crazy enough and has dived full force off the ocean shelf into bizarre conspiracy theories.
Last week they ran an article on how the Democratic Primary was rigged for Obama, and in fact had been rigged years ago, in their own words:
The nomination was rigged, long ago. The people responsible for ignoring the will of the voters and selecting Barack Obama as the nominee have been plotting and planning for years. This was no accident. The full scope of what happened may never be known, but in hindsight some of it is obvious.
I’m a bit confused as to how they can even make such a leap… the other posts on the blog are insane, true, but this one steps into grounds of convoluted illogical assumptions that are so deep they stagger me. Have they forgotten that it was Hilary Clinton that led the charge to have the delegates unseated? Do they realize what they are suggesting? Their claim that the election was rigged via the treatment of Michigan and Florida is a claim that Hillary rigged the election for Obama…
WHAT!?!?
They actually believe that Hillary Clinton, in their mind the rightful presidential nominee for the Democratic party, rigged the Democratic Primary so that her opponent, Barack Obama, would win. In what sort of universe does a conspiracy theory like this even make sense!?! It’s like claiming that Kennedy hired his own assassin! This sort of stuff reaches so far down the well of crazy that I am really excited to see what they come up with next. It’s like watching a car wreck, I can’t stop reading their blog. It’s a whole new level of insanity, and while it creeps me out, like the patron of a good horror movie I keep coming back for more.
If the crazy half-baked conspiracy theory wasn’t enough, the author has the absolute audacity to suggest that Hillary’s campaign is akin to the Civil Rights Movement. I’m sorry, but at that point the dose of crazy goes from funny to pathetic. If you really think you can compare a race’s struggle to not only have the right to vote, but the right to attend the same schools, live and work where they want, and not have to live in constant fear for their lives, you are just pathetically misinformed.
Edit:They’re even running an article today about how Obama was “supposed to pay” for Hillary’s debt. Um, when was this decided? I know Hillary asked him to, but why should he? She didn’t have the decency to bow out when it was clear to everyone else she had lost. She needs to pay her own damn bills. Obama is not liable for her irresponsibly continued campaign.

Those PUMA people freak me out. I really think a lot of them are just totally off the deep end but I also think at least some of them are Republican plants. People who voted for HC in the primary because Limbaugh told them to.

Hillary is bad people start to finish.
The PUMA scam is a knee capping dirty tricks operation that has tolled for women who might join in.
Hillary subverted the Obama campaign with Diebold to even be in the race after NH.
Media was insanely favoring Hillary even when Obama won state after state, plus absolutely false election results were reported favoring Hillary.
The PUMA dirty tricks ops were to blackmail the convention for two nights of the Clintons running for president and “first lady” for 2012.
Now the true purpose of the PUMA scam have been openly spoken- they are a dirty tricks 5th column to put the Republicans in the WH again, for a Hillary run in 2012.
When the Democratic party in general, the people at the top of the party already know it, wake up to what the Clintons have done and are doing now, they should be kicked out of the party.
No one has done more to elect a Republican president than Hillary and Bill, for their own interests of course.
Who is the best for president between Obama and McClain depends on your views and beliefs,
BUT one thing is rock solid-
Hillary Clinton is unfit for any position of trust and authority at any level in any party.

Why does Senator Obama want Hillary to campaign for him if she is so bad and was not good enough for VP? Seems weird to me.

Batguano, your claim is just as weird as the PUMA’s claim. And Panjoe, it is obvious that Hillary still has political cachet and fundraising muscle. He needs her to help show how ridiculous it is for someone like Sarah Palin to be the “Woman’s Choice” in this campaign.
I agree that she should not have hung on so long after she was mathematically eliminated and added to her own campaign debt, but to continue a battle after the war is over is just stupid. It gives the Republicans their talking points, and they have enough of their own.

I wrote a little something about this back on D-Day: https://12angrymen.wordpress.com/2008/06/06/hard-working-americans-white-americans-retiring-a-multimillionaires-debt/
AM must have missed that one, I think he was moving then.

Obama never said she was “so bad” and she is clearly a major and popular figure. As to why he didn’t pick her for VP, there are a lot of reasons but I’d say the biggest and ultimately most important one is the “too many chiefs” problem. Simply put: Would you want Bill Clinton hanging around as an unelected former president “second husband” looking over your shoulder all the time?
HRC is better off staying in the Senate. She can reasonably expect to run for Majority Leader in, say, four years, which ain’t exactly coach of the Little League. She could also run for Governor of New York, another job that’s not second-tier.

First off I resent the description of this blog. I vent because I CARE about what’s going on this country!
As for Hillary, it’s a FACT she DID attempt to rig the election. SHE had the contract for the diebold voter machines. She ONLY lost the NH counties that had the WRITTEN ballots. When it became clear she wasn’t goint to get what she wanted THAT’S when she made her cheap shit ignorant power play to the only demographic egotistical and ignorant enough to swallow it.
Please check into how EIGHTY COUNTIES casted not ONE VOTE for Obama in California and how NO ONE in Harlem voted for him.Come to think of it, the Harlem vote isn’t so suspicious given the black love of Clinton and the superficial dismissal of Obama by blacks at the time.
And has anyone forgotten SHE is the ONLY candidate to be charged with violating campaign fraud and has a trial that got PUSHED UP to November for her convenience?
It’s high time this crap ended and the clintons joined bush and cheny where they belong. In JAIL. And not the Martha Stewart kind.

everybody knows why people vote for pres. obama and mrs. clinton – they appeal to two specific groups of people, and they use those trusting people as nameless faceless votes. its sad how no one real;izes that
