Well 12 angry people just didn’t have the same ring to it since the film is called 12 angry men. Also most of the first recruits happened to be male so it was easier to run with that theme.

We do however have several Angry Guest Woman rants more so than a few of our male members (myself included).

A brief note to the author: whichever wp component that checks for dupe comments is on the blink. In my case, it kept telling me that I had already posted the same thing. On the theory that a short substring from a previous poster was hitting a flag in the logic, I kept editing the post, and also opened a fresh browser window not redirected from slashdot. It was then that I discovered that *all* of my posts were in fact accepted. My pardons for the mess.
